01The service

Notevo: AI Lecture Notes is an app provided by that uses AI to turn lecture recordings into notes and study tools. By using the app you accept these terms. Last updated: 2026-09-22.

02License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial study. The app, its design, interface and software belong to us; you may not copy, reverse-engineer or resell it.

03Account and age

You must be at least 13 to create an account; if you are under the age of digital consent in your country you need permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You can delete your account at any time in the app.

04Recording and acceptable use

Do not record where recording is prohibited, or without permission where permission is required. Following your lecturer's and university's rules, the law and our recording consent guidance is your responsibility. Do not record other students' private conversations.

Lecture material (the lecturer's talk, slides and exams) may belong to your lecturer or institution. Use recordings and notes for your personal study, share them only with your group of people taking the same class, and do not publish, sell or otherwise redistribute a lecturer's material or recordings publicly.

Do not upload exams you have no right to share. Do not use Notevo during an exam or to cheat. Follow your institution's academic integrity rules.

Do not post unlawful, harassing, hateful or infringing content in group comments, and do not abuse the system. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that do.

05Academic integrity

Notevo is a study tool. Predicted exams and exam probabilities are estimates drawn from your lectures and past exams; they are not leaked or real exam questions and guarantee no result.

06Your content

Your recordings, uploads and notes belong to you (or to the relevant rights holders). You give us only the limited, worldwide, royalty-free license needed to run the service: to store and process them, generate notes and tools, show what you choose to share to your group and produce merged lectures. If "Contribute past exams" is on, you also let us keep the exam questions you upload in the anonymous lecturer exam pool and use them for other students' predictions (see the Privacy Policy).

07AI output

Notes, transcripts, translations, signals, predictions, grading and answers are generated by AI and may contain mistakes. Check anything important against the source recording, the course material or your lecturer. Decisions you make based on the output are your responsibility.

08Free tier and Pro

Free: 2 fully processed lectures (up to 3 hours each), a sample lecture, reading your own notes forever, reading group notes and 20 card reviews a day. After that you can still record; processing requires Pro and your recording is kept.

Notevo Pro: weekly $6.99 (3-day free trial), 6-month (semester) $39.99, yearly $59.99 (7-day free trial). The store shows prices in your local currency. Fair use: 150 recording hours per month and 200 chat messages per day.

Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Manage or cancel in your store account's subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds follow the store's rules.

Referral reward: you get 7 days of Pro when a new user you invited has their first lecture processed, up to 8 weeks per year. Rewards have no cash value, and we may revoke rewards obtained through fake accounts.

09Termination

You can delete your account at any time; an active subscription must be cancelled separately in the store. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms. We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice, giving you time to export your data.

10Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available"; we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, exam results, or consequences of your failure to follow recording consent rules, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Your mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

11Governing law

12Changes

We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
